This trip is one of the special tour of Pinocchio Hotel that our clients experienced and recommended on the Lonely Planet. It will bring you to the remote villages that you rarely meet other travellers. The life here is still authentic. In fact, this itinerary has not been official for organising the trips in this areas but only some companies can organise the "test" operation and we can organise this tour.
Leave Sapa at 9 AM, the car will transfer you for 12km to the Silver Waterfall (the biggest one in Sapa). From here you will enjoy the excellent view of mountain and green valley. Keep riding the car for 3 more km, you will arrive in the heaven gate. This is the highest pass in Vietnam (the heaven gate tram ton pass 1995 metter above sea level). In a good weather day you will see the spectacular view of the valley and the mountain Fansipan. The trip will then continue by car 4km to the place where you start the trek.
From here you will walk through the jungle to Ban Khoang village where you will see the red Dao tribe. After visiting the village, it is time to enjoy the picnicnear the river. After lunch the trek will take you along the mountain trail some times up and down mountain, excellent view of valley, rice terraces to Taphin village. Here you will see a cave and then be transfer back to Sapa by car. It depends on your plan, you can choose to stay one more night or catching the bus to Lao Cai for the night train to Hanoi. If you left for Hanoi we would offer you a hot shower at the hotel before living Sapa.
