A tougher trek that takes the traveller further down the Muong Hoa Valley to the village of Ban Ho. The scenery is beautiful, and at Ban Ho Village there is the opportunity to meet people of the Tay minority.
This is a long trek with a lot more off - road trekking. For this reason, it can only be done when weather conditions are good.

This remains the least untouched market in the area. It a 3 - hour drive east of Sapa via Lao Cai which takes us through beautiful scenery. The market is frequented by a wide variety of ethnic minority groups, including: Black H'mong, DDzay, Tay, Red H'mong, Lu, Ha Nhi and Flower H'mong. There is a lot to see in this interesting and very rural market.
